Edit an image

Crop images directly within the Creator without needing external tools. You can also add attribution text and alt tags for accessibility.

  1. Click on the image in your block. The Preview & settings window opens.
  2. Under Crop image, choose an aspect ratio: Original, 16:9, 1:1, or 3:4. You can also drag the corner handles on the image to set a custom crop.
  3. Under Media settings, add an Attribution text, Attribution URL, and ALT tag if needed. These fields are also available right next to the image in the block editor.
  4. Click on Done to apply your changes.

To remove an image, click on the trash icon below the image in the block editor or in the Preview & settings window.

Good to know: Cropping is the only built-in image editing option. For advanced changes like filters, text overlays, or resizing, edit your image in an external tool before uploading it.
